J and I were having a fun photo opp today! Plus I haven’t shown you guys the new color I put in my hair! I had about a 4 inch grow out and it was driving me nuts! I like my hair light but I had been wanting to go a little darker for sometime so I bit the bullet and changed. I LOVE it!
Yes, I did a box color (PLEASE do not tell my hair dresser! lol ) but since my hair had really blond, dark and natural it all took differently making the appearance of shades and streaks. The last thing I wanted was all one color. But it worked well and I am embracing my new color =)
I have always had pretty dark hair but the past year I went blond – I loved and missed having dark hair.

Holy red – look at this color!
- half grapefruit
- 1 large carrot
- 1 apple
- 1/2 beet
- 2 strawberries
It was tangy and sweet at the same time! A great way to start the day!
I also had a bowl of 5 grain cereal with PB, flax meal, raisins and brown sugar.
Mmmmmmm….
And here is J waiting for a tasty bite! We always share food =)
My mom came down to visit us today – J LOVES his Grandma! We were both starving so we headed to the Mongolian Grill. ALWAYS a great choice!
Tons and tons of food! I had a little of everything – spinach, tofu, onion, bell pepper, baby corn, carrots, rice noodles… along with a side of teriyaki, curry and peanut sauce. I devoured this plate of food!
I was so full!
Marc and I decided on pizza tonight – yes I caved and ate cheese BUT that’s ok! I’m totally fine with my choice =) of course I took pictures with my other camera and I can’t get them off… BAH!
It was amazing though – garlic, artichoke hearts, sundried tomatoes, mushrooms, black olives and mozzarella cheese. I have lot’s of leftovers so you will see it over the next few days =)
Right now I am laying in bed, listening to Pandora (a blend of coldplay, the fray, jack johnson, dave mathews ) and daydreaming. Love nights like these – see you tomorrow!
Tasha, it is always a pleasure to visit your blog!Mostly I lurk but today I'm popping out of lurkdom to tell you that your hair color looks fabulous, that beet juice is GORGEOUS, and the photo of you and adorable little J should be framed!Cheers,Sheri from Green & Crunchy
Yum! Your juice looks fantastic! You and your baby are so cute 🙂
My hair dresser is horrified whenever I show up with box-dyed hair!!! Whatever, she shouldn't charge as much to put the schmancy stuff in my hair 😛 I love it on you! I like darker hair as well, much easier to keep up with. There is a Mongolian restaurant in my hometown and it is SO good! I'll have to go there next time I'm home now after seeing this post 😉
Hi there! I just stumbled upon your blog when I googled "clean eating". I'm just starting my own journey into eating foods the way Earth provides them. My first step is green smoothies and I'm blogging all about them. Feel free to stop by, and I'm looking forward to reading more of you blog and "getting to know" you a little better! ~Jessica
I'm not even a "baby person" but your son is about the cutest kid on the planet. His face makes me smile – what a cutie patootie!I've been doing my hair for a while (my colorist moved to SF) – a friend did it the first couple of times and then she said "you can totally do this."I'm saving buckets of money so it's worth it.The results have been good – finding the same color again has been almost impossible, but it's just hair.
I like having my hair a shade darker than my normal color as well – and I almost always color it myself. Looks like you did a good job. :)That juice is gorgeous – I just recently obtained a juicer & am always on the lookout for new juice blends. Strawberries?? Never would have thought to add those!
Your hair looks gorgeous!!! You look good both dark and light, lucky girl! That Mongolian meal looks fantastic too! I love that you get 3 sauces! YUM!!
The hair looks fabulous ! Little J is always as cute as can be!
Love the hair color, the dark looks great on you!
Your hair looks great! That juice looks great too! I don't think my in-laws (I'm back in the states visiting by the way) have a juicer. So, I can't wait to go to a whole foods and get some! I think that it has been over two years since I have been in one! All this blog reading is making me so jealous about the juice and just products in general!
I really like the change in your hair! It's really nice! I've always been nervous to do a boxed dye, but yours has come out great!
