
Hi there! I’m Tessa, also known as The Clean Eating Mama. I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with my 17 year old son and our two adopted dogs, Murphy and Maverick.
We love getting outside and exploring everything around us, whether that is hiking through the trees or finding new trails. Being active is a big part of my life, and honestly it is one of the things that keeps me grounded.
So what is clean eating?
To me, clean eating is about keeping things simple. It is choosing foods that are as close to their natural state as possible. More fruits, vegetables, whole grains, quality protein, and healthy fats. Less of the extra stuff like added sugars, artificial ingredients, and heavily processed foods.
It is not about being perfect. It is about being intentional.
When you start fueling your body with real, nutrient dense foods, you feel the difference. More energy, better focus, improved overall health, and a stronger connection to how your body feels day to day.
I truly believe that health and happiness are everything. If we do not feel good, it is hard to show up fully in our lives. And if we are not happy, it affects everything around us.
The idea behind The Clean Eating Mama has always been simple. If you want to feel good on the outside, it starts on the inside. And that starts with taking care of your health.
