After a long and crazy weekend, most of us just want some quiet time. But here it is, Sunday night, and most of us are getting up early to head back to work which leaves us no time to just sit calmly and quietly.
But as you head back to work or school tomorrow I want you to reflect on this affirmation:
I am in control of my world and my body. I am responsible for myself. I release this unnecessary stress and allow my body and mind to relax into a comfortable state of being. I am calm and relaxed. I have a positive and optimistic mental attitude.
One thing that I like to do when I drive into the office is put my ear buds in and listen to podcasts. I love Stitcher Radio and I listen to happiness and self development podcasts. It really relaxes me and puts my mind in a positive place.
I also try to take some meditation and breathing breaks. I usually say something similar to the affirmation above. I repeat it until I start to feel better. Try it out!
And remember when you start your day tomorrow… be open, stay positive and embrace all that life has given you. You always have the choice to change something you are not happy with!
