Hey guys – I am sleepy tonight, so this is going to be brief.
List making for tomorrow’s big dinner with my parents…. and a cup of coffee to wake me up.
Breakfast – a pancake with flax meal mixed in, bananas, walnuts, maple syrup, peanut butter and an apple
Lunch – I was craving a sweet potato, so I steamed some up for Jordan and I and topped it with vegan chili, hot sauce, avocado and some steamed broccoli.
I went to the gym late, ran a good 4 miles and even did some hill training! Go me! Ha, not really… 😉
But dinner was extra special! We had a long time friend of Marc’s come over with his family and they brought their crepe maker! It was AWESOME!
I sat there gabbing, talking fitness (they both have competed in body building competitions !! ) and watching how a crepe is made. You have to be FAST as they cook very fast – and I love the fact that you can add anything you want in it.
We did simple – ham and mozzarella.
And of course dessert! Nutella, strawberries and her home made cream sauce. I have no idea what was in it but it was GOOD!
So sorry the the really crappy pictures! Lighting was bad and I was too hungry to even try to get quality! lol
And some beer to chase the goodness down. Man, this was refreshing!
That’s all – I’m out!
I tried Alaskan Beer recently, two thumbs up. The crepes look amazing, such versatile little things.
YUM! YUM!!! Lunch looked fantastic… and so did those crepes! I haven't had crepes in forever!! Merry HO HO!!
Looks like a fun night. I have never seen a crepe maker nor have I seen anyone make one except for on tv on like that chef show with Gordon Ramsey. I just remember they had a certain amount of time to make so many and no one could even make one!! Merry Christmas Eve!!~Justine
