Just a simple reminder that even when your day is hard, when you are seeing grey skies, when you possibly have pain in your heart or soul, there is still beauty in your life. You may have to open your eyes a bit wider to see it, but it is there waiting for you!

Journal Promptlook around you and write down the BEAUTY in your life! Small things can be the biggest things!

Positive Beginnings – Prompt #14

journalingtoproductivty_thumb11

Happy Tuesday!

I hope each and every one of you are smiling today!

I read a quote this morning that I wanted to share:

Sometimes you have to hit bottom to be able to look up again.

We have all been at a very low point in our life. Yet, we are still here! Breathing, learning, living and loving!

I want you to reflect back on a very low point in your life and think about the lessons you learned from it. How did it change you? What happened to you after this event? How has your life been since that point?

Bad situations come into our lives for a purpose. Your higher power does not want you to suffer so these low points and struggles are put before us as a tool. It may not make sense at the time of the event but that’s why it is so important to look back and reflect.

Let it speak to you!

Happy Journaling!

Positive Beginnings – Prompt #13

Writing

Happy Thursday friends!

How has your journaling been this week? I hope this week you were able to get some free-write journaling in and are now starting to write without the prompts! Don’t worry – I will still continue to write prompts but I want you to start writing on your own and developing your own questions/visions!

Today I want you to reflect on your journal and think about some questions:

How has journaling helped you the past week?

Do you see a difference in your mood or thoughts when you journal?

Is this something you enjoy doing?

Happy journaling!

Postive Beginnings – Journal Prompt #12

Writing

Gooood morning!!

I have been seeing and hearing a lot of people dismiss their beauty – both inside and out. It’s so incredibly sad that we live in a very superficial world where we are constantly being compared and held to unobtainable standards.

It’s time to break free of this of this mentality! Because YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL! We are ALL BEAUTIFUL!

I want you to really dig deep and and focus on YOU and what makes YOU beautiful in your own eyes! Keep this journal page tagged as I want you to make a conscious effort to keep expanding your list every single day. Because you should be focusing on the beauty of yourself every single day!

Happy Saturday friends!

I certainly hope you are enjoying these journal prompts and I hope you have found journaling enjoyable again!

Today I want to you reflect on the past 10 days of January. What have they been like for you? Have you done anything different in the new year or is everything exactly the same as it was before.

If you are still stuck trying to find your motivation, I want you to meditate on this statement: I am worth it! I AM WORTH IT!

I AM WORTH IT!

Whatever your goal is, whatever your desire is, you deserve to get started and you deserve to reach it!

Happy journaling!

Positive Beginnings – Journal Prompt #9

Writing

We all wish we could do something over – hind site is 20/20, isn’t it?!

Journal about a day that you would love to do over. Describe what happened to make you want to change the outcome. Next write about what you learned from this day and how it has impacted you. Try to end it on a positive note and realize that the past is behind you and there is nothing you can do about it. Get it out and off of your mind!

Happy Journaling!

I don’t know about you but I find music so incredibly healing. It is definitely food for my soul!

I want you to listen to music – either on your iPod, smart phone, radio, Pandora, Songza, etc – and find a few songs that really make you feel ALIVE! Songs that make you feel beautiful! Songs that make you feel happy!

Write them down and pay very close attention to the way they make you feel. Write down all emotions and memories the song brings out. This would be a fun entry to work on all day long! When you hear a certain song that you love make sure you journal about it!
