Hello friends! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
There’s something kind of magical about Sundays—the light feels softer, the day moves a little slower, and it just gives you space to breathe. For me, Sundays have always felt like a gentle reset, a chance to savor simple pleasures like fresh flowers, a nourishing lunch, and a moment to reconnect with myself.

I spent the morning sipping coffee and reading nutritional books. Eat for Life by Dr. Joel Fuhrman is a fantastic book for those that are interested in plant based living!
And speaking of reconnection—yes, I’m still blogging. I know it’s not exactly the hot thing anymore (hello, TikTok), but I’ve decided I’m bringing it back, at least for myself. Blogging has been my creative outlet, my cozy little corner of the internet, and a kind of living journal that’s followed me through life since 2008. So thank you—yes, you—the one reader who’s still here. I see you, and I’m grateful you’ve stuck around.
I’ll be revamping this space over the next few weeks – fixing links, redesigning, etc. I am really looking forward to creating in this space again, and I hope you enjoy it, as well!

I made a quick trip to Home Depot that, of course, turned into a full-on flower haul.

I wanted to add some color to the front of the house—something cheerful and welcoming since we get so many walkers passing by in the neighborhood. Naturally, I bought way more than I planned (classic me), and ended up stuffing the flowers into the barrels a little too snugly.

But honestly? I think it turned out pretty cute. Cozy chaos, but in a good way.

I have more planters by the garage that I didn’t take a photo of. Again, nothing extravagant. It looks a lot better in person, also. I also planted some herbs in the front – basil, thyme, rosemary and oregano. Crossing fingers they grow! The soil is not the best here – very sandy.

After all that planting, I was absolutely starving—digging in the dirt really works up an appetite! I threw together the most beautiful plate of veggies and made myself a thiiiccckkkk sandwich on toasted sourdough. I slathered hummus on both slices, then piled it high with red onions, shredded carrots, baby spinach, and crisp cucumber.

On the side, I had a bowl of edamame sprinkled with nori rice seasoning for that extra umami kick. It was such an amazing lunch—fresh, filling, and exactly what I needed.

This seasoning is amazing! I use it on rice and vegetables all the time.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read my little Sunday blog post. It truly means the world to me that you’re here and part of my life in this cozy corner of the internet. I hope you had a beautiful weekend too—whether it was relaxing, productive, or somewhere in between. Before you go, I’d love to hear from you—leave a comment and share one thing you’re grateful for from this past weekend. Big or small, I’d love to read it.
Be well,
Tasha
